    Rachel McKinley (CSTC Intern) & Zachary James received the Collaborative Project Award for their work done in the CSTC's CREATE Common Ground class last spring for work in the revitalization of New Albany. The center also won the Public Outreach award for its MS Bypass Guidelines publication.
    Danielle Glass was one of five students to receive an award from the MSU Association of Retired Faculty this year. Glass was recognized for her many accomplishments as a student in the School of Architecture. Congrats Danielle!
    CREATE Common Ground Class takes a visit to meet with Mayor J.R. Denton in Calhoun City to discuss initial impressions of the town. Students will now research to develop a proposal for the city.

 

The Carl Small Town Center is a non-profit organization within the College of Architecture Art & Design at Mississippi State University. Established in 1979, the CSTC responds to its geographical position within a rural landscape and to the school's focus on the American small town.
